Shared Education Christmas Events

The children at Knockbreda Nursery School joined with their friends from Knockbreda Primary School and St Bernards to enjoy a Nativity performance from Knockbreda Primary School and a magic show by Fizz Whizz Pop! What a perfect end to our term!

We will look forward to shared play sessions and shared Circle Times together in the new year, as part of our Shared Education project.

Shared Education Parent Training

Thank you to Paula McTaggart for leading an excellent parent training workshop at St Bernard’s Primary School.  The focus of the workshop was speaking and listening and developing early literacy skills.  The presentation was enthusiastic and highly active!  Thank you to all the parents from across our Shared Education Partnership who attended this shared event.

Lion King Singalong

Thank you to Knockbreda Primary School for hosting our final Shared Education event of this year!  The Nursery children thoroughly enjoyed the Lion King singalong! Well done to all the stars of the show!

Shared Education

The children from Knockbreda Nursery School enjoyed the opportunity to meet with their friends from Knockbreda Primary School and St Bernard's Primary School to share weather stories and to play outside together.  Another successful partnership event!

Shared Partnership Event

The children at Knockbreda Nursery School thoroughly enjoyed meeting with their friends from the Shared Partnership programme (St Bernard's Primary School and Knockbreda Primary School) to take part in a pupil-led shared story session at Knockbreda Primary School.  This event was a wonderful opportunity for the P5 children to share their excellent reading skills and for the children involved in the partnership to meet and play together outdoors.

Fizz Whizz Pop!

On Monday 18th December, our Shared Partnership schools met to enjoy a performance from Fizz, Whizz, Pop!  What a wonderful magic show we enjoyed!  A very positive start to our partnership project has been made.
